About Me

Welcome!

My name is Eileen Sheehan and the arts have always been a part of my life. Growing up in a family of artists and with parents who supported my creativity, I was truly able to explore what I was capable of at a young age. I started to take my studies more seriously when I attended Hawken Upper School and got involved in ceramics. From there, my love for clay, 3D sculpture, and working with my hands blossomed. I chose to study fine art in college and received a BFA in Art education from Ohio University with an emphasis on Ceramics and Sculpture. I have taught students ranging in ages from 0-80+ in both traditional and non-traditional settings. I sell my work privately and for the past 7 years have owned and operated a private art studio that offers classes and parties. I currently teach art to PK-6th grade at a local independent private school.
